This safari program will lead you to the best parks in Tanzania. This safari allows you to explore Tanzania’s most stunning wilderness areas and some of nature’s greatest wildlife spectacles. Enjoy a journey of contrast from the hidden wonders of the Tarangire National Park to the unique Ngorongoro Crater and the world-renowned Serengeti.

Detailed itinerary

Our guide or representative will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel. The drive from the airport will take you 45 minutes to reach your hotel depending on traffic along the way. Our guide or representative will come into the hotel for a briefing for you to know the basic tips for your tour. Then you’ll have some rest preparing for the next day’s trip.

Have an early morning pick-up from the lodge or airport and start a beautiful journey to Tarangire National Park while carrying lunch boxes. Once the game drive is over, we drive back to the lodge for relaxation and an overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park is well known for its large elephant herds, consisting of a diversity of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna with the Tarangire River wending its way through the parklands. It is possible that we will have the experience of seeing a lion stalking his prey or leopards watching whilst relaxing in the trees above. Once the game drives are done, we will drive to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and our overnight stay.

Overnight at the Lodge or Camping in Karatu

Early in the morning, you will continue to Serengeti via Ndutu or Ngorongoro highlands. You will arrive in Serengeti for an afternoon game drive that offers every day’s opportunities to spot Tanzania’s most impressive wildlife. Central Serengeti and the Seronera River Valley is a ‘must see’ game area on each safari to Serengeti. This area is dominated by an incredible number of resident wildlife including the “Big Five”.

After breakfast, you will have an opportunity to memorize the final game drive in Serengeti accompanied by a lot of pictures. Always Serengeti is rich in big cats, buffalos, zebras, hippos, and a lot of species of birds. As you come out of the Serengeti to Ngorongoro at the border of the Ngorongoro Crater, you will have a welcome to Ngorongoro for the following day. Later, you will have dinner and your overnight stay inside the crater rim.

 

Today is an amazing day to descend to the floor of the crater. The size is about 102sq miles/264sq km. The Ngorongoro Crater is an unfilled, intact and inactive volcano in the whole world. This impressive crater is over 600 meters (2000feet) deep. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area has about 20,000 larger mammals and other small wild animals as well as various species of birds. Also, the crater has a forest habitat which is home to buffalos, zebras and other herbivores without forgetting nests for birds. You will spend a day in the crater accompanied by a picnic lunch. Later, your guide will drive you back to the airport for outbound flights.
